Enchanted Prophecies
As a BFA Undergraduate, Emily Mirka was given the opportunity of curating her solo exhibition, "Enchanted Prophecies." In this exhibition, Mirka took pieces from her upcoming graphic novel and made them into individual illustrations. These illustrations all consist of and explore different styles, textures, and mark-making techniques. The exhibition ran from November 1st to 15th at The College of New Jersey.
Mike's Market
Mike's Market is Emily Mirka's Senior Thesis piece that brings the 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional together. In this piece, one can follow the story she has weaved of a widower and now a single father providing for his son.
