Hello!
Here are two of my characters from a comic I have been working on!
My name is Emily, or "Kiwe!" I am a mixed media artist with a focus on illustration. Looking at my illustrations, one can see that I have an interest in storytelling!
While I have this strong focus on illustration, I have many other pieces such as paintings, sculptures, prints, and much more. When making pieces such as these, I more often than not like to add a meaning, message, or story.
I use these pieces to take myself out of the 2nd dimension that illustration keeps me in. Stepping out of the frame and working in the 3 dimensional space keeps me moving and can even help me realize where my work is headed.
